"I just wanted to get out of there but he said that I would only leave after deleting everything". Explaining that she could only leave once Antony's physiotherapist had arrived, Cavallin added: "I think his mother called the physio, nobody could control him."

The woman further alleges that she was the victim of violence when carrying their unborn child, who was lost during pregnancy. The tragedy is said to have taken place while Antony was still playing for former club Ajax in Amsterdam, where he left to sign for United in August 2022 as part of an £85million transfer deal.

"At that moment I died. I panicked, I started crying a lot. I had a 30-hour delivery. It was the greatest sadness of my life," she revealed. "He had come back from vacation and called me. He was just apologising, saying he was very sorry about what had happened."

Another incident - this time said to have taken place after Antony had joined United - was one during which Cavallin says a prosthetic breast ended up dislocating and resulted in her having 40 stitches to repair the alleged damage. "He held me by both arms, threw me on the bed and fell on top of me," she continued.

"I had shortness of breath, it looked like I was going to die. He began to see that it was serious and stopped. He called an employee from Manchester, a kind of 'handyman', who asked two doctors to come to my apartment."

Cavallin went on to confirm that she plans to travel to England and "do whatever it takes" in search of a conviction. She declared: "I'll go with a lawyer, with a protective measure and with the evidence. If necessary, I'll go after the witnesses, I'll go to the club to look for the employee who called the doctors, I see the security cameras... I'll do whatever it takes.

"I'm going to England to denounce him for assault, failure to help, false imprisonment, psychological abuse and for everything he did to me."

Manchester United refused to comment when contacted by Mirror Football. The player's agency have also been contacted for comment.
